Mini Series Nano Ultra Small Linux System

About

The Mini series is our seriously small complete computer line-up powered by the acclaimed Via Eden Nano processor, the world's smallest x86 processor. From 800MHz to 1.2GHz and an array of model variations, these units can be adapted to any situation. Get a 2 ethernet port model and create a fanless router or server. Or, expand with its USB ports to use external devices such as DVD or hard drives.

The computer is completely fanless, and cooled via its die-cast case that distributes heat across the entire surface. Models without spinning disk drives have no moving parts whatsoever. Best of all, they're only 170mm x 123mm x 38mm (lt models) and 170mm x 123mm x 56mm (lg models), and just around 2lbs!

This machine makes the perfect home server or router, computer for the kids, or a whole array of embedded applications. It's small enough to take it with you in your shoulder bag, or stick in a drawer, and tough enough to withstand travel abuse!

Custom Services:

We offer free custom installations of your favorite distributions on most models (noted below near each model) or alternatively stick with our tried and true default distribution chosen for the particular model. Although the hardware is guaranteed, it is possible -- though uncommon -- that some Linux distributions may not include full support for all the features and capabilities of this hardware. If we encounter any incompatibilities with your chosen distribution, we will notify you with possible remedies before shipment. We test all functionality, including USB and audio support, prior to shipment.

Warranty Information

All computers are systematically tested prior to shipment and also inherently tested via the operating system installation and configuration. Computers may be returned at buyer's shipping expense within 10 days of arrival if you are not completely satisfied.

The LT series is the ultra slim line that does not have internal hard drives, extra ethernet ports or CF expansion slots. They boot to USB thumb drives with Linux installed on them or to an internal solid state flash drive.

The size of a home router, this machine uses a 4GB USB Thumb Drive with a full version of Ubuntu installed, which acts just like a normal hard drive installation. We do not offer custom distribution installations on this item.

This slim model includes an internal embedded solid state IDE flash disk. It has no moving parts and is 100% IDE compatible. It's ideal as a direct drop-in replacement for conventional rotating storage which is prone to short production life and often fails in mobile computing and industry environments where temperature fluctuations, shock, vibration, dust, moisture and magnetic fields are present.

The ultimate no moving parts, rugged & small computer. Any distribution which can fit in 1GB of space can be installed; alternatively, upgrade to a 4GB drive by selecting the box to the right to widely expand your options to nearly any distribution. By default, we install Debian GNU/Linux. Many people like to pair this with our external 500GB USB Drive for storage.
