ClarkConnect Broadband Gateway:

INSERT Linux:

INSERT (the Inside Security Rescue Toolkit) aims to be a multi-functional, multi-purpose disaster recovery and network analysis system. It runs from a credit card-sized CD-ROM for convenient transport or download and is basically a stripped-down version of Knoppix. INSERT provides full read-write support for NTFS-partitions using captive-ntfs.

IPCop Firewall:

Mandrake Multi Network Firewall:

Mandrakesoft's integrated network security solution, Multi Network Firewall (MNF), combines firewall, Virtual Private Network (VPN), intrusion detection, and traffic management functions into an easy-to-use product. Through a secure Web interface which utilizes finely-tuned wizards, network administrators can easily build a network, define access rules, filter and monitor Internet content, and perform administration tasks.

OpenBSD CD Bootable Firewall System:

This project allows you to set up a full featured OpenBSD firewall without the use of a hard disk. The system boots from a CDROM and stores configuration information on either a floppy, or a USB mass storage device, such as a "pen drive" or a USB CompactFlash reader. The CD also contains a simple install script, to allow you populate a floppy or UMASS device with a basic firewall configuration. Simply boot the CD, select the media you wish to use, and answer some straightforward questions.

Securepoint:

Securepoint Security Solutions offers a full-featured suite of firewall tools designed for enterprisewide deployment. Not only can it protect an internal network from outside attacks, it also helps segregate parts of your internal network and define custom protection rules for each. Securepoint lets you create and manage VPN tunnels for remote users and define traffic filters, reports, and alerts for your entire network. Securepoint Freeware is a very secure and free firewall solution for protecting your internet gateway. Sentry Firewall:

The Sentry Firewall CD-ROM is designed to be an easy to manage and configure CD-ROM based Linux operating system suitable for use in a firewall, IDS (Intrusion Detection System) or server environment. The system is designed to be immediately configurable for a variety of different operating environments via a configuration file located on a floppy disk, a local hard drive, and/or a network via HTTP(S), FTP, SFTP, or SCP. Currently, the system is based on a Slackware 9.0 installation. Various other packages and utilities have also been added to increase this system's functionality.

SmoothWall is designed by administrators and security people, priced at a price that is easy to access and with the GPL taster product you get a glimpse of something that the established security manufacturers and companies should be scared of. TrX Live Firewall:

TrX Live Firewall is a Turkish project created by Gürkan Sengün. TrX produces a Debian GNU/Linux-based desktop router and firewall package. This package is bootable directly from CD-ROM, so hard disk installation is not necessary. TrX is designed to work completely off the CD-ROM, with configuration data stored on a floppy disk, harddisk partition or, in future versions, on a USB storage device.
