Use Linux Without Installing Anything!
You don't have to make the plunge of installing a single thing with these disks! Simply put the disk in your CD-Rom drive and reboot. Without touching the hard drive (in fact, you could run it with no hard drive at all), the CD boots into a Linux environment all built directly on the CD. They also make for great recovery disks, in case the need ever arrives.
In addition to the full size LiveCDs, you'll even get a miniature, 3" LiveCD containing Slax Linux. This is perfect to carry around with you anywhere you go, ensuring you always have a Linux environment on hand!
Knoppix is ideal for general purpose use and as a recovery disk. Gnoppix has a sleek desktop with many office and end-user applications. Fedora Core 4 DVD
